What reviewers say

Reviewers like how easy the packets are: hook it on the cup, pour, and you have a strong, smooth cup in a couple of minutes. Barista Magazine found the flavored blends well balanced and not too sweet, and said the coffee held up iced. She Explores liked the shelf-stable condensed milk creamers for camp, but pointed out that the wet used filter is soggy trash to pack out and that cost per cup is high compared with brewing your own. Note that the She Explores reviewer got the coffee free from the company.

Good

  • Real pour-over taste with no gear to carry
  • Strong, quick cup
  • Flavored options made with real spices
  • Shelf-stable creamer packets solve the milk problem at camp

Not so good

  • Costs more per cup than ground coffee or basic instant
  • Used filter is wet trash you have to pack out
  • Creamer packets are pre-sweetened, so you can't adjust the sugar

Who it's for

Campers and car campers who want a better cup than instant without packing a dripper. Budget-minded or zero-waste campers may prefer ground coffee in a reusable cone like the GSI Java Drip.
